Britney Vs Katy

This is hard because I love them both, and I love almost every single of their songs. So as we all know, what? Oh yeah right, you don't. So as I and some people know, Katy Perry and Britney Spears are finally back hitting the world - well not yet actually - with their new songs, and so far I have already in love with both of their songs. Now, I'm gonna right my review, ratings and comment about those two new song that's about to hit Hot 100.

I love the artwork so much, it is simple yet powerful and artistic. I also love how she decided what the title would be, it's not that long so everyone can remember it easily. As a music lover, I don't really like songs with title more than 5 words, because it's hard to memorize it and it's even harder to type it on iTunes or Billboard or Spotify. Sometimes I have to type the full title in order to get the track I want, it's torturing. Back to the topic. 

Overall this song is great, and it has one of the most powerful lyrics that I have ever known. Why do I rate the music 6/10? Because Katy has announced that this song has been chosen by NBC as the anthem for an Olympic Game in August 2016. The first time I heard it, I did not know it was an anthem for such occasion, I thought it was the lead single of her upcoming album. The tunes are too weak, good thing she has that deep bass sound on the chorus. I mean, if you make music for an Olympic game or any other sports occasion, try to make it more simple, easy to hear yet hitting and making the spirits of the players burning. This song can only do that by the lyrics. But overall I love this song, it is encouraging and I feel like I have risen with Katy LoL...I recommend this song to be in your music library.

The artwork is just great and cool, it's simple and so Britney-ish. The only thing that disturbed me the first time I looked at it was, those dress she wore. I thought it was a toilet paper being rolled on her body, thankfully it's not. Anyway, the song is great, it's chilling but also hitting you at the same time. It's hard to put both elements in the same song you know. Only senior singer-songwriters can do that. The tunes match the lyrics and that is also the best part of listening to song for me, when I find out that the tunes match with the lyrics and the meanings. I love this song as much as I love Britney, so I recommend this song for my readers! Have fun listening to Britney's new single guys!
